This is a Taxco piece marked Mexico and 925, with brass leaves. Usually, I can date the piece as either Pre-Eagle, Eagle or after 1979, but this piece is in extremely good condition - so without an eagle mark or the standard lettering used after 1979, I would have said this was pre-eagle...but I can't confirm that. The brooch weighs 27.6 grams and sits beautifully as a brooch or can be worn as a pendant.
