Navy--bordering on royal purple--empire waisted ball gown with sari trim work and short train.
I made this gown to wear to the Ball for the Jane Austen Festival in Louisville, KY, several years ago. I have not had it on since. It is in perfect condition. Bodice and gold trim at empire, sleeves, and hemline is from silk sari. The rest is heavy satin. Fully lined. Back lace with modesty panel so there is some give in bust size. Hook and bar closure at empire waist.
This is a custom made, one-of-a-kind dress. I have been sewing for 30 years so it was meticulously constructed for my own use and is not "fast fashion."

I am 5'7" and the length was good for me with a modest heel so could be worn by someone up to about 5'9" tall wearing more period appropriate slipper shoes.
